Ingredients

  • 2 (15.5 oz) cans chickpeas, drained
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 6 TBS tahini
  • 1/3 cup bone broth or water (I use water)
  • 4 ice cubes
  • 6 TBS squeezed lemon juice
  • salt
  • pepper
  • for garnish: (optional)
  • Za'atar or crushed roasted pistachios

Directions

  1. 1Combine the hummus ingredients in a food processor. Taste and adjust with extra lemon juice or salt and pepper.
  2. 2Garnish with the Za'atar or the crushed pistachios

Notes

  • Tip: Since this hummus doesn't last as long in the refrigerator like a store bought one, I usually make half the amount at the time.
