
The asparagus season is unfortunately coming to an end now.
Ingredients
- 1 package puff pastry
- 500 grams asparagus
- 200 grams smoked salmon
- 1 bunch fresh dill
- 200 grams cream cheese
- Some Sour Cream
- 1 whole lemon
- 1 whole egg
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch pepper
Directions
- 1Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- 2Peel the asparagus and cut off the woody ends.
- 3Blanch the asparagus in salted boiling water for 3-4 minutes, then drain and let cool.
- 4Roll out the puff pastry and cut into rectangles.
- 5Mix the cream cheese with chopped dill, lemon zest, salt, and pepper.
- 6Spread the cream cheese mixture on the puff pastry rectangles.
- 7Place the asparagus and smoked salmon on top. Add 1/2 teaspoon sour cream.
- 8Fold the puff pastry over and seal the edges.
- 9Brush with beaten egg and add some fresh dill.
- 10Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- 11Serve warm.
